Resolved: Charged for items not delivered

I was charged for items not received. Went back to Meijer where they said to contact Shipt. The name of your website, Pissed Consumer and rating was not encouraging, will try to call again.

Horrendous delivery service!!

Target and shipt lost a customer. I will NEVER shop there again.

Shipt is the WORST delivery service I've ever dealt with. I placed an order at 3:52 pm with a delivery time between 5-7. I received a message that my order was being shopped, Gavin messaged me about a substitution. 50 minutes later, I messaged Gavin to ask if he was at Target.

He asked for my address and order number. He then tells me he doesn't have my order. He never had my order. So I guess Shipt lied when they said Gavin was shopping for my order.

I must have imagined receiving a message from Gavin asking for approval for a substitution. I got another message saying my order would be delivered 7-8. I got another message saying it would be delivered 8-9.Then I got another one saying my order would be delivered Dec. 26th!!

I called customer service.I was told Gavin told them the store was closing, which is a total lie! He stated my order of 12 items at 6:35, the store was open until 8:00. I'm positive his phone jingled from shipt for an order for more money than my $85.00 order, so he stopped shopping my order to shop their's. You don't get more unprofessional, rude, and greedier than thar.

I'm disabled and no longer drive. For Target and Shipt to contact me FOUR HOURS after I placed my order to tell me the Christmas presents I ordered wouldn't be delivered until TWO DAYS after I placed my SAME DAY DELIVERY order is egregious, and so so so unprofessional.

I'll use Amazon from now on. You can depend and trust your order will be delivered when they say, and you don't have to worry if their delivery driver is greedy and inconsiderate.

Deactivated for unjust reason!

I'm furious with this abomination of a company! How dare they deactivate my shopper account when I've worked my tail off for this company? First of all, their business model is a joke! The Shipt pay structure is NOT transparent at all! I have done the math and have broken it down to where I was making less than $10 an hour! I wish I had access to my pay stubs to show that on several statements they never gave me the guaranteed earnings/adjustments!

Second of all, they put ridiculous time crunches on getting the orders delivered. They give you a bundle of 3 orders and expect all 3 to be shipped and delivered on time. It's really not fair, and it's unrealistic. Many things come up; for example, a customer you are delivering to may live in an apartment building that has a locked entry, and you've attempted to contact the customer to no avail. This happened to me on more than one occasion, but one I remember specifically was when I wasted 30 minutes of my time waiting to get access to the customer's building. The shopper support is useless, by the way; they don't do anything to help you. It's somebody from a call center that is based out of a foreign country who you can barely understand and has no clue about how the company works.

But anyway, that time I had to wait 30 minutes before I could access the customer's building made me late for the next couple of orders I had to deliver. This situation was completely out of my control, and yet I got dinged for it. And that late forgiveness request they have is a joke! Don't even bother wasting your time doing that or filling that form out. Also, there are other situations that are out of a shopper's control, such as the app glitching, which it does a lot, weather and traffic conditions, GPS not working while trying to locate a customer's residence to deliver, not being able to find a Target team member to help you process your order in a timely manner, and not getting a response from a customer about an item that is out of stock. All of these examples are situations that will delay a shopper and will result in late deliveries.

No communication before last order. Delivered without notification

I don't have an order number. I have been a member for years.

No problem. Yet, easily I placed an order with Winn-Dixie through Shipt. No notification, no communication. The order was dropped off without any message.

Coffee creamer has spilled all over the order. Hamburger meat was left outside for hours in Florida. I called Shipt and was directed to Just Answer for a $5 refund. Totally worthless.

Then I was charged $65 even though I immediately canceled. I now have to try and get my money back.

If we wouldve been told early on, they had a shortage of drivers we wouldve picked up our order. I was at least able to resubmit for pick up.

Never ever create an online account with Shipt because they will refuse to cancel/delete the account. Therefore, your personal information will be in their database for life making it vulnerable if they ever get a hacker.

My account hasn't been activate for a full 8 hours, but after experiencing extremely poor delivery and customer service, I wanted to delete my account. I am so glad I didn't pay for a membership because after reading the reviews it would have been an even worst nightmare.

Shipt is refusing to delete my account because they claim there is no account, but you know this is a screenshot and send a copy of everything to a direct area world. Therefore, I have my records that prove I have an account. I have put in 5 request and each one has been denied, which is illegal. This is why I am doing a review of Shipt to warn people about their policy.

You can not cancel a membership or even simply delete your person online account without speaking with customer service.

Shipt tell you they honored your request, but never process that make them a scammer. If you want to live a simply stress free life, don't use Shipt as a delivery service, but do your a favor and simply go inside all stores and buy what you need yourself.

Have not received my funds that I earned through the app after being deactivated

Account disabled for no reason

Completely just caught me off after doing so many orders, only delivering one order late. Other than that, nothing but good reviews.

Just did four orders on time, not even 24 hours before being disabled. They say my ratings are below their standards. This is my income to live; can't even call customer support, obviously, because they have my number for my account, and when I call customer service, it says it cannot help you any further, you have been pretty much cut off.

Now, how am I supposed to make this income I've relied on to pay my bills? I am a single mother of three, and I am furious.

Awful Customer Service Agents

I was a Shipt Shopper for 1 year and 5 months. On February 9th, 2024, I was doing a customer order on the Shipt app. I was ready to process the order. I realized that when I was ready to check out, my app kept saying an error message. I thought it was a malfunction in the app. Then I thought I had to restart my phone to fix the error. I noticed my app was locked, so I couldn't finish the order. I tried to contact Shipt customer service by phone, but they never gave me a reason why I was deactivated without any warning. They said I violated a policy, but I was never rude to customers. The customer service agents were very rude to me and they don't get fired or terminated from their jobs for awful customer service.

After a year of doing Shipt, I got an order for BevMo! to pick up and deliver to the customer. I messaged the customer that I was on my way to deliver the package. I scanned the customer's ID and I thought I was done. They decided to add an extra step to the process by taking a picture of the delivery of the alcohol. My old phone didn't like to upload pictures to the app. I was always complaining about the app malfunctioning, but they didn't like to listen to my advice. I was unaware of the changes made to the app because they never gave us a 60-day notification in advance. I had to be on live chat with a customer service agent. I said my phone didn't like to upload pictures to the app. The agent was helpful and apologized for the changes to the app and said they really wanted to provide 60-day notifications, but the CEO of Shipt said we didn't need to give out 60-day notifications about the app. They only gave us a 4-day notification through email notice. I was not happy with the company.

One time, I was delivering groceries to an apartment building. I tried to take pictures and upload them to the app, but my phone didn't like to upload pictures. Then I had to be on live chat with an agent who didn't like to listen or help me out. I gave the agent the order number and complained about the app malfunctioning. The agent kept saying it was a bad download and to please delete and reinstall the app. I said it doesn't work; I studied IT programming and maintenance and I know that it doesn't fix problems. The agent kept saying the same thing over and over again. I said I didn't want to talk about deleting and reinstalling the app because it never works. The agent refused to help and wasted an hour of my time not following through on the policies and violations of Shipt conduct. I had to hang up on the customer service agents. I had to get a different agent, and this agent apologized for the terrible customer service agent that refused to help me. I said I finished dropping the groceries off at the customer's door and the agent said it wouldn't be marked late.

I was doing a shopping order for a customer at Smart & Final. I had to deliver to a customer in an apartment building that had awful cell phone service. I dropped off the customer's order at the door; I tried to take a picture and upload it to the app but it didn't like to work. Then I had to go to a place that had good cell phone service in the Barnes & Noble parking lot. I tried to get on live chat, but nobody answered me to help me out. I was getting very frustrated with their customer service agents wasting 3 hours of my time. I finally had to call the phone number. I said I was on hold on live chat for 3 hours and I said I finished this order on time. I said I preferred to have options back on the app. I tried to give them good advice, but they kept refusing to have options back on the app.

One time, I was doing a customer's order at Target; it was a big order for me to shop for and they only gave the order to me at 10:46 AM. I asked politely by saying, 'Please, can I get extended time on the app?' The agent was very rude to me, saying that I couldn't get extended time on the app. I said it is a big order; I need more time to complete it, but the agent kept refusing to help me. That's why I didn't trust any of the customer service agents at all because they always liked to lie and violated Shipt policies, rules, and conduct.

Shipt driver on April 7 2025 around 0930 backed into my vehicle parked on street. She then left.

She was driving what appeared to be a white mini van. When she was in my driveway I asked her what she was doing. She said sorry I was delivering to your neighbor, Im leaving now. So, in morning (4-8-2025) I seen damage around 0545 getting ready to leave for work.
